For use in extreme conditions, the BlueTree Programmable Modem is designed to meet the special operating requirements for both mobile installations and fixed industrial applications. Tested by an independent laboratory to ensure that military and automotive standards for reliability and durability are met, this rugged modem withstands the demands of vibration, temperature, shock and humidity in harsh environments.
By leveraging the event reporting mechanism of the GPS 5600, the following alerts can be sent by the modem to the remote application server:
- Excessive Speed Notification
- Engine Idling Notification
- Heading Change Notification
- On-demand GPS Query
